Cities, Energy & Shelter - Module 6 of the Online Permaculture Design Course

  • Online London United Kingdom (map)

This course is module 6 of the full Online Permaculture Design Course that we offer. It can also be taken in isolation as long as you have completed an Introduction to Permaculture Course (online or in-person).

The course covers the role that permaculture design can play in the urban and built environment, as well as the energy aspect.

We’ll start by exploring waste and what resourcefulness means in terms of converting that waste. We’ll then discover innovative social projects that are changing the way our cities and town operate.

On the course we will learn the principles of sustainable building, whether that is building from scratch or retrofitting existing homes. We’ll conclude on renewable energies and appropriate technology.

Dates and times are: Saturday March 5th, 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm, UK times
